Load IQ is a startup company developing novel products in the field of energy management for quick serve restaurants.  In May, 2011, Load IQ was awarded a highly competitive NSF SBIR phase II grant to commercialize their Utility Accountant System.  The Utility Accountant is a suite of computer algorithms that measure the utilities entering a building and automatically disaggregates the energy usage amongst the major loads.  For the first time, users will view insights into their utility bills in the same way they can search their phone bill for expensive long distance calls.
